Musician Jackson Maine discovers and falls in love with-struggling artist Ally. She is nearly giving up on her dream to make it big as a singer until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. The first part of the film is brilliant. The story starts off well and so does the character development. Also the acting is good and the songs are amazing.
However in the second half of the film, the pacing drops off. Plus the characters are meandering along going nowhere as there’s not much depth to them. Also the songs aren’t as good.
