The film follows the loss of Annie’s husband, John, the spark of the calendar idea and their white wine fuelled photoshoot. As a result, there is a media frenzy and the world wakes up to Yorkshire’s very own calendar girls. Soon they have to adapt after the effects of their new found media fame.

This is a really enjoyable British comedy drama. Also there is a fantastic cast. Plus it’s based on a true story.
