Chakuro is part of the ‘marked’ population and lives on a vessel that has been in exile for 93 years drifting over the sea of sand. His life is interrupted by the appearance of another island. When they investigate they find a girl living there.
The music is beautiful and some of the artwork is awesome.
You need to be in the right mood as you need to concentrate. There is a lot of background information to take in and with it a lot of talking. Also there is a lot of story within 12 episodes and it feels bitty in places as it swings between joyful scenes to violent scenes.
