A poor farm boy, Eragon, finds a polished stone in the forest. At first, he thinks it’s a lucky discovery. Perhaps, he will be able to buy his family food for the winter. But, when a baby dragon hatches out of the stone, Eragon realises he’s stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Suddenly, his life changes, and he enters a perilous new world of destiny, magic and power. The trailer is the best bit. Basically, If you like reading then you’re better off just reading the book.
This film is an awful adaptation of the book. The story is ripped to shreds and isn’t even a good alternative to the book either. Also the acting is dire.
