Fortress Movie Review: Fortress takes place in the future, year 2017, where each woman can only have one pregnancy. John Brennick (Christopher Lambert) and his wife Karen (Loryn Locklin) flee to Mexico when she becomes pregnant after the death of their first child. The border police capture them and they have to go to the Fortress, a subterranean high-security prison. A sadistic, genetically “enhanced” warden (Kurtwood Smith) runs the prison and has nefarious plans involving Brennick’s wife and unborn child. Along with his cellmates, Brennick plots a breakout and Fortress shifts into auto-pilot action mode.

This film is full of action. Also the story moves along at a solid pace. Plus the acting is good.
