Foyle’s War TV Review: Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle (Michael Kitchen) longs to join the war effort. But he is left frustrated when his application for transfer doesn’t go through. To his surprise however, he finds the turmoil of conflict means his skills are in demand on the home front. As WW2 rages over Europe, one man fights his own battle against murder, mystery and betrayal on the south coast of England.
This is such a good British crime tv series. The acting is superb from Michael Kitchen. Also a host of stars join him throughout the series including David Tennant, Emily Blunt, Charles Dance, Laurence Fox to name a few. Plus there is great character progression.
