Into the Badlands TV Review: A mighty warrior and a young boy search for enlightenment in a ruthless territory controlled by feudal barons.
Centuries in the future, is a feudal society emerged in the aftermath of the destruction of civilization. This area is now called the Badlands and is divided into seven rival barons. Each baron forced his authority with the help of loyal army of trained killers, known as the Clippers. The most deadly clipper’s Sunny (Daniel Wu), the most trusted adviser of Baron Quinn (Marton Csokas). Quinn has for decades been the Baron with the most power in the Badlands, but encounters resistance at the latest baron of the area, The Widow (Emily Beecham).

The initial idea of the story is good. Nick Frost is a nice addition to this series.

The acting is wooden and stilted in places. Also the plot gets a bit monotonous as the seasons progress. The continuity of the martial arts scenes aren’t great either. High heels…flat shoes…high heels…
