A car accident transports DI Sam Tyler back to 1973. Is he in a coma or has he travelled back in time. There, he finds himself dealing with the significantly rougher attitudes and behaviours of “old-school” British policing, as exemplified by his new boss, DCI Gene Hunt.

A cult classic TV series. Life on Mars is a brilliant and funny series, its easy watching, with a bit of everything and a great soundtrack. Also John Simm and Phillip Glenister were made for these roles.
