Mon père, Ce Héros Movie Review: A divorced man (Gerard Depardieu) takes his beautiful teenage daughter (Marie Gillain) on holiday. She is desperate to appear as a woman and not a girl. In order to impress a local boy, she makes up more and more fascinating stories.

Gérard Depardieu brings a lot of humour to this film. There are hilarious moments between the father and daughter. This is a lovely family film.
The 1994 American-French remake of this film is not as good as this original french film.
