After a car accident, Chief of Surgery Charlie Harris of Toronto’s Hope-Zion Hospital ends up in a coma. He leaves the hospital in chaos and his fiancée and fellow surgeon, Alex Reid in a state of shock. Along with surgeon, Joel Goran who is new to the hospital, Alex and her fellow doctors press on to save Charlie’s life and those of their other patients. As well as this, they have to deal with complicated and courageous decisions daily and also try to keep hope alive.

This is an easy watching medical drama series. The acting is ok.
The story lines are rather samey as the series progresses. Also they are rather far fetched in the love and romance department making proper in depth character development hard.
