The Goonies Movie Review: a band of kids (Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin) who live in the “Goon Docks” neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon, attempt to save their homes from foreclosure. In doing so, they discover an old treasure map that takes them on an adventure to unearth the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate. During the entire adventure, a family of criminals, who also want the treasure for themselves are chasing them.

This is a fantastic family adventure film. The story line is fun and engaging. Also the array of young cast are brilliant in their roles.
