The film follows Alan Turing, the British codebreaker and computer scientist. It spans from his teenage years to his wartime work and the trouble he later faces in his private life. Along with his friend and colleague Joan Clarke and the rest of his team at the Government Code and Cypher School in Bletchley Park, Turing races against time to decipher the Nazi’s Enigma machine during World War II.
