When Ross Lowry moves into his cousin’s guest house in the small community of Magdalena, Arizona. He expects nothing more than breathing room and a brief respite from his economic woes.
But something is not right in the desert.
During a raucous party on New Year’s Eve, a unidentified being is shot down and lands in a neighbours barn. Now begins a change of fortune of the attendees. The rich and successful suddenly find themselves facing catastrophic failure while the less well-off are unexpectedly flush with good fortune.
The Influence is a well told story which is very easy to read. Also the characters are well created.
There are some very graphic scenes which maybe a bit much for some readers.
