If on one night every year, you can commit any crime without facing consequences, what would you do? In a near-future America, the government sanctions an annual 12-hour period in which all criminal activity, including murder, becomes legal ‘the Purge.’ On this night, when there is violence and an epidemic of crime, one household has to protect the family to extremes when the vicious outside world breaks into their home.
