An American family move into an old English house. But soon strange occurrences begin and they seem to be linked to the elderly owner of the house.

This is a creepy old fashioned ghost story, that relies on atmosphere to create tension and scares. It has a good cast, with Kyle Richards and legendary actress Bette Davis the pick of the bunch.
Though it is a PG the film maybe too scary for younger children. Its a shame that David McCallum only had a small part.
