Troy tells the story of Paris, Prince of Troy, who falls in love with the wife of the King of Sparta, the beautiful Helen. He persuades her to leave her husband and go back with him to Troy, sparking a war between the Mycenaeans, led by Menelaus’s brother Agamemnon, and the armies of Troy, led by Prince Hector.

Troy is an enjoyable, action packed epic “swords and sandals” drama. It is very well acted, with a great cast, grab a drink, some food and enjoy.
The film can feel a little long and can seem to drag on in parts.
